In 2005, we opened Al Vicolo, our first regional restaurant dedicated to Sardinian cuisine. It was very much a reinterpretation of our Mamma’s cooking, but with a contemporary touch.

Al Vicolo later evolved into Blue Sardinia, a more fitting name that reflected our hometown’s recognition as a blue zone, one of the rare places in the world where people are known to live the longest.

In 2008, we launched Shardana, a concept that embraced a wider selection of traditional Italian dishes while still celebrating Sardinian specialities. Our mission became clear: to offer customers the warmth and flavour of authentic, homemade cuisine, while at the same time curating a wine experience that combined classic Italian fine wines with discoveries from new and exciting vineyards.
